How to play Hearts

1. Pass three cards before a hand using this edition’s repeating left, right, across, then no-pass rotation. The player holding the two of clubs leads it to the first trick.
2. Follow the led suit when you can; the highest card of that suit wins, with no trumps. On the first trick, a player without clubs cannot discard a heart or the queen of spades.
3. Each heart taken scores one penalty point and the queen of spades scores thirteen. When someone reaches 100 points, the lowest total wins; this edition also offers a scoring choice for taking all thirteen hearts and the queen.
