Freecell Solitaire
Move a fully dealt pack through tableau columns and four temporary cells to build four foundations in suit.
How to play Freecell Solitaire
- All 52 cards are dealt into eight tableau piles. Build the four foundations upward in suit from ace through king.
- Build tableau columns downward in alternating colours. Exposed tableau cards and cards in the free cells can move when their destination permits.
- Each of the four free cells holds one card. Moves are fundamentally one card at a time; moving an ordered group requires enough free cells or empty tableau columns.
Tip
Keep a temporary cell available before moving a long run; occupied cells reduce your rearrangement options.
